To reinforce the role of NAAMSA as the leading, collective voice of the automotive industry in South Africa, the inaugural NAAMSA Automotive Conference will be launched in 2018 and will cover issues of importance to the South African auto and associated industries. Drawing on select industry leaders and specialist speakers from the world stage, the Conference will focus on key issues impacting the industry, as well as grappling with the various consumer and technological trends forcing rapid change on a global scale.

The NAAMSA Automotive Conference is the definitive industry conference for the collective South African automotive Industry and associated industries. The Conference is hosted by Messe Frankfurt, the organizers of the Festival of Motoring, on behalf of and in conjunction with the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa.

The overall theme of the conference is Paths to the Future and will cover three distinct themes – namely:

  • The post 2020 automotive industry development programme
  • Africa and regional market development
  • Mobility business models and digital transformation of the automotive industry
