Rare Lamborghini Miura on display at Festival of Motoring

A rare Lamborghini Miura will be on display at the Festival of Motoring. The iconic 12-cylinder sports car was built by the Italian supercar manufacturer from 1966 to 1973. Only 764 cars were built. The display car, one of only a few in South Africa, was rebuilt to show condition by Bailey Cars. The Miura is generally considered to be first supercar, its successor being the extreme Contech model.

Bailey Cars is an internationally respected constructor of historic race cars such as the Ford GT 40 and Porsche 917 models. Various of these models will also be on display and on track at the FoM.
